Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the age range for participants?

Our camps are open to children aged 7–13 (Primary Year 1–6).
Children should be able to manage basic self-care independently.
We also offer English Intensive Weeks for both kids and teens.

2. How can I register my child for a camp?

WhatsApp us and we’ll send you the registration form. A deposit is required to secure your child’s spot, and the remaining balance can be paid on or before the first day of camp.

3. Who are the camp teachers?

We have a diverse team of both international and Malaysian teachers. What really sets us apart is our focus on hiring younger teachers who are energetic, kind, and fantastic with children. We want our campers to feel connected, supported, and comfortable — not stuck with stiff or old-fashioned teaching styles.
All teachers are trained in our camp routines, safety procedures, and supervision standards. Their upbeat personalities and hands-on approach help create a fun, safe, and friendly environment where kids feel happy to learn and make new friends.

4. What is the camp fee structure?

Fees vary depending on the season and the type of field trip or activity planned for the week.
All fees are inclusive of meals, materials, and all camp activities.

5. Is lunch and snacks provided?

Yes. We serve healthy, home-style Asian meals with a balance of carbs, protein, and vegetables.

6. What is the drop-off and pick-up policy?

Please refer to our schedule for the exact drop-off and pick-up times.
We do not provide transport — parents/guardians will need to handle the daily commute.
If you’re an out-of-towner or foreign visitor, feel free to contact us and we’ll advise you on the best transport options. In some cases, if a staff member lives nearby, we may be able to help.

7. What safety measures are in place during the camp?

All staff are trained in our centre’s safety SOP. Optional Zurich domestic travel insurance is available for added peace of mind.
For safety, the centre is locked after all children arrive in the morning.

8. What should my child bring to camp?

Just a pencil case and a water bottle. Everything else is provided.

9. Are there any additional costs for field trips or special activities?

No. All activities are included in the camp fee.

10. What is your policy on electronic devices at camp?

Kids may bring their phones, but they can only use them to contact parents during break times.

11. How do you handle behaviour issues?

We have a strict no-bullying policy.
If a child is found bullying three times, they will be removed from the camp with no refund.
We prioritise a safe, welcoming environment for all campers.

12. What is your refund policy if we need to cancel?

A full refund of the deposit will be provided if cancellation is made at least two weeks before the camp start date.
No refund will be issued for:
– cancellations made less than two weeks before the start date
– any absences during the camp
– early withdrawal from camp
If the camp is cancelled by the organisers due to unforeseen circumstances, all fees and deposits will be fully refunded.

13. Can parents visit during camp hours?

No, to keep the environment consistent and comfortable for the kids.
Parents may enter only in case of emergency.
The centre is also locked once all children have arrived.

14. How do you communicate updates and notices to parents?

If a child doesn’t bring a phone, they are welcome to use a teacher’s phone during break time to call home.
We also keep parents updated through messages from the camp team.

15. Are the camps conducted in English? Do you offer bilingual support?

Camps are fully conducted in English.
For our Korean camps, there is always at least one Korean teacher available to translate instructions and assist in emergencies.

16. Where should I stay in Malaysia to be close to the camp?

We recommend Molek Regency, located just 5 minutes away.
It’s secure, convenient, and family-friendly, with facilities like a pool, laundromat, and Korean restaurants.

17. How many teachers and students are there?

Numbers vary each season, but we maintain a maximum ratio of 1 teacher : 10 students to ensure close supervision.

18. Are all the kids mixed together?

For games and activities, yes — kids enjoy mixed-age group fun.
For classes or structured learning sessions, they are grouped by age and level.

19. Is there a level test?

For Study Hard Play Hard Camp, children are grouped according to their school grade. Teachers observe them on the first day and may adjust their group if the level is unsuitable.
For English Camps, we observe each child’s English level and place them in the appropriate group. Teachers continue monitoring and may adjust placements when needed.
